This is very wrong. First, showing off your Mac - you could save a bunch by using a PC with Windows or Linux. Makes us wonder what other equipment you're using is overpriced. Second, and more importantly, this looks like the equipment is important and not the photographer. Not your skills and talent and experience. If I'm supposed to pay you because you're using expensive equipment, then you can fuck right off.

The ammount of ignorance in these comments is too damn high! Even the freaking iMac is a small investment comparing with the cameras and lenses required to distinguish an amateur job from a professional. Don't blame the professional trying to make a living from what he loves. People charge what they do because there are clients willing to pay certain ammounts to recieve a professional photo or video shoot. Nobody builds a business of this kind ripping of people. You may do it 2 or 3 times before your reputation destroys you and your dream to make a living of it.

First of all, He is NOT a photographer. There is a glidecam. 2. That iMac is cheap compared to lenses and other stuff in the equipment and yes, you need that stuff to work with 4k Footage, even better PCs than for High End Gaming. And prices from 1000,-/2000,- a wedding (for example) are not high if you think about how many you need to make a living from it. And make it double, cause you would get many jobs in winter

Oh wow big deal. Laying down every single piece like that is fucking useless. He even laid down his personal phone and iPad like those matter. Not to mention 8 tripods and he even laid out the fucking lens covers but has only ONE FUCKING CAMERA. You could do the same shit with an electrician and he would need a fucking pickup truck for every single piece

You know.. you don't need a mac, a simple PC costs a quarter and does the same. Also - having 8 different tripods doesn't really make you better at it. Same for all the lamps - cool you have it, but it is only necessary for product / portrait photography, something you set up once - (takes not even 0.5 hour) and then can use for all the shoots. So - yeah, your initial costs are a bit higher than what people expect - but still getting paid $60 - $100,- for a short shoot is kinda the reason why people don't hire photographers anymore,even at weddings.

That's ridiculous, the total value of the equipment lying there (apart from him) is less than 15k. These kind of posts also reduce you to what you own not not what you are capable of doing with the gear you have. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for owning as much of the best gear you can afford but come on man, if you want to show of, you gotta show more than that...
